Dr. Sierra Perry is a compassionate and enthusiastic optometrist who loves to educate and empower her patients about the health of their eyes. She is focused on helping you and your family to gain and maintain your best possible vision.
Dr. Perry is interested in many areas of optometry and enjoys treating patients of all ages and needs. From seeing preschoolers for their first eye exam to treating a senior with a chronic ocular disease, Dr. Perry provides excellent care for your family no matter what life stage.
Dr. Perry received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry, one of the top optometry schools in the nation. She has done internships at private practices and at Vision America of Mobile, an ophthalmic referral and surgery center. Dr. Perry obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree in 2004 at the University of Mobile and has worked as a nurse in the ICU at Providence Hospital and a Nurse Case Manager at Springhill Medical Center.
Dr. Perry’s background as a nurse has taught her to view her patient as a “whole person”, not just a pair of eyes to fix. She will make sure you receive the care you need, even if she needs to refer you to a different doctor. She communicates very well with local primary care physicians and enjoys a close rapport with several specialty ophthalmologists in the Mobile area.
As a lifelong native of Mobile, AL, Dr. Perry is very interested in helping to improve our community. She enjoys volunteer work, supporting the local arts and music scene, and travel. Come see Dr. Perry today for any need your eyes may have.
