Thank you all so much for having trusted the health of your eyes to me for the past nine years. It has been a pleasure to serve my hometown, the community of Semmes, AL. Unfortunately, as all good things come to an end, so has my time here at the Schillinger Road location of Mobile Bay Dental and Vision. The Vision department at the Semmes location will no longer be open as of 12/01/2023. Thankfully, I will still be in the Mobile area, and it would be wonderful to continue to serve your vision needs at The Shoppes at Bel Air 3281 Bel Air Mall, Suite G18A, Mobile, AL 36606. Our phone number at that location is 251-301-6555. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you at our newly renovated space at Bel Air. To schedule an appointment with Mobile Bay Dental & Vision, you can call us directly at our Semmes or Bel Air Mall locations. You can also request an appointment through our Appointment Request form.
When you come in for your appointment, please bring your insurance card, a valid photo ID, and a list of any current medications you are taking.
Mobile Bay Dental & Vision accepts most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Alabama Medicaid, AllKids, and more. If you have any questions about insurance coverage or eligibility, please call our office to speak with our friendly staff.
During a routine dental exam at Mobile Bay Dental & Vision, one of our experienced dentists will examine your teeth and gums for signs of decay, gum disease, and other issues. We may also take X-rays to get a better look at your teeth and jaw.
We recommend scheduling a routine dental cleaning and exam every six months to help maintain good oral health. However, the frequency of your visits may depend on your individual needs and risk factors.
A routine eye exam at Mobile Bay Dental & Vision typically takes between 30-60 minutes, depending on the complexity of your exam. During the exam, our optometrist will check your vision and eye health, and may recommend corrective lenses or other treatments if necessary.
